Man miraculously dodges four bullets fired at close range

A 35-year-old man became the target of at least four gunshots late on Tuesday night in Poá, Greater São Paulo. The attack occurred while the victim was walking on a city center street.

The shots were fired from approximately two meters away by a man riding on the back of a motorcycle, who then fled the scene. Some of the bullets struck a wall, causing the plaster to fragment upon impact.

Just before the criminal duo approached, the man walking on the street instinctively reached for his waist, drawing what seemed to be a firearm. He quickly threw himself to the ground, managing to evade the shots fired by the assailants.

The Military Police were notified and responded at 11:30 PM. According to a local newspaper, the police confirmed that the victim visited the police station on Wednesday. During his visit, the man stated that the criminals had attempted to rob him at gunpoint.

During this critical moment, the man purportedly revealed a toy gun he had on his waist. In response, the criminals fired upon perceiving the imitation firearm, which the victim had reportedly acquired for self-defense, as he testified. The toy was subsequently confiscated.

The police are investigating the case.
