Heart-stopping moment woman narrowly avoids being hit by out-of-control pickup

In a harrowing incident caught on surveillance camera, a woman narrowly escaped being run over by an out-of-control pickup truck in Formosa da Serra Negra, Maranhão, Brazil, last Saturday (June 29).

The footage captures the terrifying moment when a speeding pickup veered off the road, crossed the median, and barreled through the opposite lane toward a fruit stand.

The woman, who was sitting on a motorcycle parked near the sidewalk, was initially absorbed in her cell phone. In a split second, she noticed the vehicle hurtling toward her, leaped off the bike, and jumped onto the sidewalk.

The pickup missed the woman by mere millimeters before crashing into other parked vehicles.

Police reports confirm that the woman escaped unscathed, while the pickup driver sustained only minor injuries.
